"4th Branch" by Immortal Technique is about the 4th branch of the government, the media. Several Universities and Institutions across America were inducing unwitting people in social situations with certain drugs, such as LSD. Other aspects of the song include government-sponsered terrorism, human rights violations, contras in El Salvador and Nicaraqua, wars, ghettos, torture, and anything else that reveals the reality that the television and history books don't talk about.
